…my long flowing branches with small, delicate leaves would catch the wind only for a moment then give way to the power of Gaia’s breath allowing it to pass onward through the cycles. My skin would show deeply beveled grooves illustrating the story of the lives of all that have been within my view. My roots, grounded so deeply, would be intertwined with the flora around me. My branches would flow effortlessly skyward reaching toward the light and completing oneness with Gaia and oneness with the sky. If I were a tree, I would be one with all.
